Speaking from a perspective that needs to be highlighted more, Smoothboi Ezra is a non-binary bedroom producer and songwriter from a small coastal town in Ireland. Their new single 'Stuck' is a heartfelt contemplation of a relationship on the brink. Strikingly honest and heart-wrenchingly self-depreciating the line "the worst year of your life started when you met me" cuts like a knife as subtle instrumentation carries the weight of their words. Arriving alongside a touching video directed by Arthur Studholme, Smoothboi Ezra's aim to bring issues faced by LGBTQ+ people is both admirable and incredibly important.
